Based in Tunisia, which is considered one of the major producers of dates worldwide, where a dry and hot climate favors the cultivation of date palm, our producer of Deglet Nour dates, has accumulated an experience of 2 decades, making him a major player in the cultivation of dates with modern facilities and a flexible production capacity to meet demand.
Making the choice to be a responsible producer, our producer has a production of 3 oases inked in organic farming, in the areas of Djerid and Nefzewa. The product retains all its natural characteristics namely its nutritional quality, its microbiological quality and its sensory quality to offer the consumer a product of high quality.
Each year, the harvest is subject to a special control and monitoring to ensure optimal selection of dates. From the selection of dates to their marketing, our producer is committed to comply with the international standard ISO 22000 and the FSSC.
The size, the external aspect, the freshness, the degree of moisture as well as the bacteriological values are controlled in order to ensure that only dates in conformity are integrated into their production process. Guaranteeing a traceability of the production process (from the preparation of the harvest, before, during and after the harvest).
Our producer maintains a fair and trustworthy relationship with their farmers while ensuring that they comply with the application of good farming practices through organic farming, fair trade, HALAL and agri-trust.
Not content to commit only to the present, our producer remains committed to his projects for the future. With a project for water saving, a project for agricultural and industrial diversification and finally a program for the development of harvesting techniques.
